CA In Two Months

Rachel, Abbey and I will be in Malibu, CA in two months! This picture of us in Florida a few years ago reminded me that we will be in the sun and on the ocean in just 60 days. Rachel, Randy Harris and I are teaching a three day class at the Pepperdine lectures this May. We are taking an extra day after the lectures to just relax as a family!

By the way, please be praying for my family this week as I will be in Seattle tomorrow through Sunday. I hope to get some good pictures to post when I return.

Look how young and carefree you two look. A lot has happened since then and, judging from seeing your face during ACU's Lectureship and the pictures of Rachel, I now see maturity, abundant love, deep peace and Christ in both of your eyes. Be blessed.

Lipscomb and Belmont were playing for the conference championship today on ESPN2 for a bid to the NCAA. I am sorry your alma mater lost. As I watched, I wondered what you would look like today if you were still coaching? An airline pilot at church told me a long time ago that before you could be promoted to become an airline captain, you had too have a touch of gray hair and hemmorhoids to give you that "look" that inspires confidence by passengers. You are both maturing gracefully! We thank God for you both daily.
