She's Driving!!!

The following is a message from Rachel:

To my family and friends that have supported me throughout this past year:

Thank you for your prayers!
Thank you for your encouragement!
Today, I received my daytime driving license!!!

What a blessing it is to celebrate the freedoms we have. Please take time today to pray for someone who is experiencing captivity. Praise God in the Good Times, Praise God in the Bad Times. Above all else, Praise God.

Love,

Rachel

Congratulations, Rachel! I'm so excited for the freedom this will bring you, not only literally, but emotionally. It had to have gotten old not being able to get out when you needed. I LOVE those new pics of Abbey that I saw on your dad's blog. Where did you get those done? The black and white is beautiful. God Bless,

Ahhhh, Rachel! We are SO happy for you!! Know you must be skipping through the days, now that you've passed your driving test. Just be careful as you travel in the car with that precious one, Abbey! Brad and Hannah both posted pictures this morning of her and I printed them out on Photo paper! Will be framing them shortly! Give Abbey a hug from her Gr-Grandparents, Mama Lou & Daddy Laddie

Congrats, Rachel! I can't even imagine how great that must feel - independence again for one of my most independent-spirited friends!

Still thinking about you and praying for you often!

Rachel,
We are so thankful for the gift God has blessed you with in allowing you to drive again. I know how important that is to you. God has truly lifted you up and you have been faithful in all that you have endured. It was not in my plan for your life to be shaped and molded in this manner; but, we trust in the God who made you that he is still making you into what he has designed. We love you very much and are so incredibly proud to call you our daughter. You have created a legacy of faith that has gone through the fire and will be revealed in the Day for the precious life that you are. You are a blessing.

Dear Rachel,
Hallelujah! I know you're happy--very happy to be able to drive again. This is a milestone and I'm praying that God will keep you safe as you're out and about. Has Abbey learned to talk less while her Momma is driving? She's a beautiful little girl, and I hope to get to see her (and her parents!) in September (ACU Lectureship).

Lots of love, Aunt Roberta
