Which Candidate?
As my previous post mentioned I have really enjoyed the presidential race (coming soon to Michigan!). I'm still not sure who to vote for, there are still probably five candidates that I could legitimately side with. Five years ago I would have sided with Huckabee (or a candidate like him), three years ago I would have probably leaned toward Obama...however, its amazing how a little girl can change the way you think.
There's a little 3 year old girl that I'm madly in love with and I want her to grow up in a safe and war free America. I think McCain will do the best job protecting our country. Say what you want about him being too moderate, too liberal on fiscal issues and too compassionate with illegal immigrants...he knows how to defend a nation and he's no nonsense. I like that.
That being said, I'm listening hard to Romney, Obama and Huckabee as well. I originally really respected Rudy as a leader but he's dropped of the map...maybe he will make a comeback with FL and I will throw him back in the mix?
But every time I think about the world Abbey might (or might not) grow up in I think of McCain's toughness.

Amazing how being a parent changes one's perspective on the world? The only protection we can create for our loved ones is to entrust them to the one who made them. I rejoice in watching you and Rachel doing that. You make a Grandpa proud!
Thanks for saying hello, Rachel. It's always nice to know someone else who is dealing with the same things! I hope Ethan doesn't develop a peanut allergy. I hear that one's the worst. I think I'll join FAAN soon!!
