Last Kiss

Six years ago today I kissed my wife goodbye for what I thought was the last time and then wept in a dark hallway at Henry Ford Hospital. Words cannot express my gratitude to God that that was not our last kiss.

Much Love Rachel, Klint

One of the Most Memorable Nights of My Life!

I have been blessed with a tremendous nuclear family...and one heck of a Dad! He's the most "giving" man I know, and last night an entire community decided to "give back" to him. Check this out!

Before Kids!

A few pictures when Rachel and I lived in Abilene, before kids! We hung out every night (when I was home and not recruiting or coaching!). Fun times.

Associations

To the left is the skyline of Seattle; It is by far my favorite skyline. Seattle is a great city. It's clean, there is a coffee shop on every corner, the people are incredibly friendly and it's the home of my favorite musical genre, grunge rock. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to spent significant time in this great city. [Note: the mountain range in the background is the Olympic mountain range, and of course I have spent time hiking and sightseeing there.]

But more than anything, this skyline represents an incredible friendship I have. My friend Travis Bass grew up there. And so what I really think about when I see this picture is deep, meaningful friendship. I think the power of "association" is amazing. Every time I see this great city on t.v., I instantly think of Travis and the countless memories we've made.

We've made them all over the country, but the times we've spent in Seattle together are especially meaningful to me...and they will continue to be as long as I live.
