Precious Klint and Rachel,
David and I are struck by two things as we hear and read about Rachel...One is that God is so much bigger than a disease and what He chooses to do with each situation is always going to advance the Kingdom of God and precious ones you are the heirs of that Kingdom. Two...when we are walking with God as you and Rachel are, you come out of each trial more sure of who you are in Christ and knowing that no matter how hard the journey, knowing God intimately is what gives us our strength. We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you both to the brim...and fear be cast out..and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We will be in prayer for you.
In our Precious Savior's love,
Sherry & David Longbine

Dear Klint,
You don´t know me at all, but you are already dear to me just for being Rachel´s choice and also for what I have learned about you in your blog. Thank you soooo much for taking the time and effort to register your thoughts and feelings and bare your soul to all. I´m very happy for you both that you have each other. Rachel couldn´t have asked for a better husband at this time of need. I met Rachel as a teenager, the McKnight Rd Church of Christ supported my parents as missionaries in Brazil. When I visited on furlough every two years, Rachel and Jennifer (former Haupt) and their families made sure that we all had a great time. I haven´t seen either of them for 14 years, but I still think of them often. If you have time, please read her this of just relay to her how much I love her and hold her dear to my heart. I´m rooting for her and you all.
My prayers,
Miriam Grissom (Boeger - just got married)

Dear Klint & Rachel,
You are held close in our hearts and prayers; you have been in our private prayers as well as in the Univ. church's prayers. We're thrilled beyond measure to get encouraging news, and we continue to boldly ask our Father for Rachel's complete recovery. We praise God for His blessings, and for His faithfulness in bringing His children through difficult times; we ask that His presence be felt by you, and that his angels watch over you carefully.
You are precious people; thanks for posting the pictures of precious little Abbey. She looks like she's doing great! Give your parents our love; we appreciate Garth's call, and message.
Our love, Willard & Bobbie
